Switching to a natural gas or propane boiler will not only keep you comfortable but is also much more efficient. Nat gas/ propane can use up to 98% of the fuel going into the heater whereas oil can only use up to 84%. This means that 16% of the fuel is not being used to heat your home. Natural gas/ propane boilers come in standard efficiency and high efficiency tankless models. Tankless models are more efficient and save space.
